TENS is short forTranscutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulations  are safety and effective non-invasive, drug-free methods of pain management and muscle relax. TENS is currently one of the most commonly used methods of electro- analgesia. TENS works by two different mechanisms:

First, Cut off the route of transmission. The machine produces a micro-current that transmits a pulsed signal to the nerve endings through a patch attached to the skin, stimulating the nerve endings and preventing the transmission of pain signals to the brain.

Secondly, Establish a self-healing mechanism. After the nerve center senses pulse stimulation, it produces endorphins in the body, a compound called natural analgesic.
